Re: Thailand Football
I'm thinking of going to the upcoming fixture between Ratchaburi and PT Prachuap. I've recently been to a couple of PT Prachuap home games and enjoyed the experience.
What support do PT Prachuap take away? There are a couple of fan groups with drums and hand microphones. Hardcore and The three bay warriors. Do these groups travel to away games? Will there be much of an atmosphere?
Any insights welcome.

I'll state my position before posting - I am a Ratchaburi supporter.
Prachuap usually bring quite a vociferous following to the Dragon Solar Park. I've never sat in their section, but with the exception of Buriram, they have one of the best followings. Of course, this is Prachuap's local derby, so you'd expect as much.
Pound for pound, Dragon Solar Park is the best stadium in Thailand for football. Some may argue that the Chang Arena is better, but for visiting supporters Dragon Solar Park wins hands down. It'll be a great experience for you. You should give it a go.

Thanks BigBoy. That's what I was hoping to hear. Unless anything unexpected crops up for that weekend, I'll give it a go!Big Boy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 20, 2023 5:39 pm I'll state my position before posting - I am a Ratchaburi supporter.

Should've buried that free header about 10 minutes from timeBig Boy wrote:
Straight into their keeper's hands! Would've been a lovely goal and possibly the winner
I specifically recall that when about 13 yo in a games lesson we lined up to take headers from PE teacher and we had to head it into ground before it crossed the line.
These kids today eh, no idea!! Hahaha
Never mind, good season overall

Yes, 3rd place is the dream finish for Hua Hin City. They have successfully avoided any risk of promotion. Rising out of T3 would most likely finish them in 2 ways i.e.
1. They are a place where academy players can learn their trade before moving on to bigger and better things. The academy would need to seek another T3 team for their players.
2. The additional expense of moving away from a regional league would cripple them. Higher wages and T2 is a much longer season, together with unthinkable travel expenses plus hotels, later kick offs, so probably stadium improvements and most definitely floodlight upgrades.
Why would they bother for just 200 people (supporters) living in Hua Hin?

A great pity, but yes that seems to be the commonly held view.
Such a shame
