Ah yes, of course! The guy who took the youngest member spot from me. We should have a d̶u̶e̶l̶ drink one day to celebrate our youth.

39 here. Was a Webster student from 2003 to 2006. Joined the forum then (as Viseman), but lost my login info and was content just being a lurker until recently.

When we used to talk in P&P Bar before, I was only a baby compared to you. It's actually amazing that you've doctored the age bandings to give the illusion we are in the same age group.

I think it would be of more interest if it was limited to those of us who actually live here full time.

Nope, not anymore. Did for over a decade. Why does that even matter, this poll, as suggested in the title, is about forum members.

Unless one was in Europe or the UK, at the age of 0-6, one didn't exactly live through WW 2. The only 3 experiences of the war, that I recall, are, travelling on a train between Detroit and Chicago. The train was filled, into the aisles, with service men, and when I had to go to the toilet they lifted me above their heads, passed me down the aisle to the toilet and, when I finished, passed me back to my seat with my mother. In Chicago, I remember black-out curtains on the windows and air raid warnings. At the end of the war in Europe, there was a parade in downtown Chicago and my grandparents took me to see it. My grandfather lifted me unto his shoulders to see the parade. None of that qualifies as living through WW 2.

My mum is pushing 98 and she 'lived' through WW2. She did serve in the army but she was only 20 when the war ended. I shouldn't think there are many alive today that can claim they were 'active' during WW2.
