Well, I forgot to make picks for last night's games and managed to get "Default Points" - a cunning plan obviously!!

Certainly shows my "prowess" in predicting the results of matches (not)  The only points I got were from the matches I forgot to predict FFS!! :banghead:

Things can only improve...... I wonder how many more "default picks" I'm allowed!

Want to help save costs, Lost? Stop posting such humongous size photos and posters. I just changed what you had above by 50% in size and it's still big.

Apologies. Wasn't aware size of attachments affected anything. Assumed the file size limit of 500kb was sort of a prepaid gig/limit. Never bothered reducing stuff if it was under the limit, but will now.

First time in the history of using the internet I've been told off for posting a screenshot.

Will do better.

You're not being told off, that no one really wants to see as I may need to ban myself.  Disk space is disk space and everything to stop filling it up is of help. The allowed file size from 300 to 500 was done some time ago as people were complaining as many didn't know their way around a resizing application, although it's simple, it takes a bit of time.

Anyway, coming upon a huge half page attachment is also not pleasant to look at. We very well may go back to maximum 300kb from 500kb in the future. Thanks

I guess the simple message is only add an attachment when it’s really necessary - I assume the same applies when people copy and paste? - maybe a few basic rules to help us all reduce the impact on costs wouldn’t be a bad idea?

We have been taking out duplicate pictures when people quote a previous post for a while.

This seemed odd to me as its not really that much bigger, image size wise, than any pic you'd see posted on any other forum. But then I thought... I only ever post on the mobile, maybe it looks different on the laptop.

And it does. It looks big, clunky and out of place.

I'm guessing with an older average age of users, most will be using their laptops and not their mobiles to post. Something I'll keep in mind when posting in the future.

For me, it's not an age thing, it's having sledgehammer fingers.

Anyway :offtopic:

Does anybody else think the same as me, this Nations League is not being taken seriously? Are the decent teams holding back for bets ahead of the World Cup? Is it just a series of competitive friendlies to ready themselves for the World Cup? Personally, after the Hungary farce, I've not got up at silly o'clock to watch this rubbish.

It may be the case in group A but at least Finland in group B are trying their best. Then again, there's no WC for them in December.

I'd agree with that, certainly for group A anyway. Dressing it up as the Nation's League was never going to fully take away the 'international friendlies' feel of the whole thing. Players have just had a full on season. Players don't want to get injured before preseason. Also, so close to the world cup, I don't think any of the top teams want to give too much away tactically. Though I may be being generous to Southgate here.

I only watched the Hungary game, caught the rest on highlights. More interested in the prediction league if I'm honest (though, given my position, you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise :D).

Yes, I guess I'm looking for excuses for crap football. If we carry on playing the way we are, there's a bit of a chance it mightn't come home this year :run:
