Well, maybe... if the Karma equation is right, which probably is very debatable in many cases.

The question is; will they come back?
So far there's no evidence that anyone has come back.
I'm talking long-term, not dying on the operating table and coming back.

Yes, I think "game over" is a more relevant emotion!
I do use scooters in Thailand but just for local journeys around Hin Lek Fai, I never go further than about 2km with them and certainly not on major roads.

I thought for a minute this was turning into a debate of 'life after death'.

Of course there's no evidence of that. In fact zero evidence of any religion being true. Yet people still believe!!

I'm not one of those. Show me the evidence and I may change my mind.

If there was any evidence, there wouldn't be so many religions!
Going to the pub by scooter in Thailand requires any religion that's heavy on fatalism!

All religions are fatal and, in the long run, may be true for scooters too.

In the meantime, it's back to the topic before the inquisitors catch us. Off with their heads would be fatal.

After driving here for more than thirty years while I fully recognize the comments the actions rarely annoy me, just part of driving here. I am guilty of doing many of the things mentioned although not the double or triple parking usually associated with Bangkok drivers.
What does annoy me are the twunts who blast past you in a cloud of black smoke (usually a souped up pickup truck) only to turn off within less than 200m and in doing so slow all the traffic down.
Have just arrived in Chiang Mai after driving up from Hua Hin and even the “Europeans” (people who drive on the right usually in overloaded pickup trucks) failed to annoy me.

I think 'annoy' is too strong a word for me. Annoy infers anger to me, and I hate to be angry. When I say I'm wound up, it's more of a 'There's another prat doing X, Y or Z - what a plonker', but I'm usually laughing at their stupidness.

A friend of mine used to say, "If you don't swear while your driving, you aren't concentrating on what is happening around you."

I'll cuss, and swear, and my wife will tell me to calm down but I tell her I'm not really angry, just staying in practice.

I normally say something like “and now we know why Thailand are almost number one in the road fatalities list”.

I would hardly call 47th on the list #1. To be fair though Thailand ranks #1 in SE Asia according to the below data.

Or, look elsewhere and you get very different statistics- I’m sure Thailand is closer to the top than 47th!!

Countries With The Highest Road Traffic Death Rate

Rank Country Car Accident Deaths (Per 100,000 Inhabitants)
1 Libya 73.4
2 Thailand 36.2
3 Malawi 35.0
4 Liberia 33.7
