You'll have to argue that one with the "experts" who have voiced that view.f

Yep, the experts.
You could quote many experts who would agree with you.
However, I'm quite confident that I could post the opinion of 10 pro-mask experts for every one that you post.

I didn't know that this was a numbers game.

Yet the mask wearing mandates were only lifted a few days ago in Denmark. Go figure!

^^ You got to be kidding. You are hanging your hat on that?

Among the limitation of the study were: Inconclusive results, missing data, variable adherence, patient-reported findings on home tests, no blinding, and no assessment of whether masks could decrease disease transmission from mask wearers to others.

Sorry Mate - that's a big time swing and a miss.

Meanwhile, our fascist health minister is shaking his fists at those dirty foreigners again ...

"Public Health Minister Anutin Charnveerakul complains on Thursday that foreigners in Thailand tend to not wear sanitary masks to protect themselves and others from possible COVID-19 infections.

"Foreigners tend not to wear masks. Maybe it's cultural but whatever the reason we must discuss with CCSA on what to do about it," Anutin said, referring to the government Center for COVID19 Situation Administration. Thursday saw a rise of new infections reaching over nine thousand for the first time in weeks."

Re-enforces my thinking ... masks are totally useless.

Social distancing & personal hygiene is about all you can do. Everything & anything else, well, you're just kidding yourself.

Just for starters..

A YouTube video and social media posts claim a man blowing vape smoke through various face masks shows that they do not help prevent the spread of coronavirus. This is false; experts agree that while the virus itself is small enough to fit through mask fibers -- as is vape smoke -- masks do help stop the much-larger respiratory droplets that carry potentially infectious particles, and multiple studies have indicated that masks reduce transmission of the virus causing Covid-19.
“Doctor uses Vape Aerosols to show just how much masks don’t work,” the title of the September 6, 2020 video reads.

The man in the video inhales and exhales through two different surgical masks, a cupped mask, a cloth mask, a mask with filter material and a respirator with a valve.

Plus many many more if you could be bothered with due diligence, but hey, that just doesn't suit your agenda does it?

I was responding to the vid I quoted, simply shows masks do nothing.

Fact check seems concerned about the docs expired license, and a bit irrelevant, as my truck driver's license is expired in the USA, but I can still drive. Expired anesthesiology license simply means, he doesn't want it any more ... probably retired. Just an failed attempt to discredit, as always, if can't attack the message, attack the messenger.

Really don't know what the vape vid has to do with anything, except also showing, they don't work. 'Experts agree' .... to what ever you pay them to say.

Believe what you wish. Free world, or almost use to be.

Also in fact check ... this confirms what both vid show "experts agree that while the virus itself is small enough to fit through mask fibers" ... appears the fact checker agrees with vid, so let's point out the expired license.

Show a vid, proving the same as the other vid, so not sure what you're pointing out.

Kind of means, they won't stop the virus, in or out. Just a thought.

Air passengers limited to 30 masks

https://www.bangkokpost.com/thailand/ge ... o-30-masks

Departing travellers are not allowed to take out more than 30 medical face masks unless they have a medical certificate, because they are controlled goods, according to Suvarnabhumi airport management.

An announcement posted on the Suvarnabhumi airport Facebook page on Friday said passengers with a medical certificate could take up to 50 medical face masks in their luggage.

Otherwise, the limit was 30 each.

The Royal Gazette website published an announcement by the government's central committee on prices of goods and services on Jan 25, 2022, placing medical face masks, polypropylene (spunbond), a raw material used in making the masks, alcohol-based hand sanitiser and recyclable paper, along with chickens and chicken meat, on the state price control list.

The regulation is in effect for one year.

In March 2020, Airports of Thailand and the Department of Internal Trade issued a regulation restricting travellers from carrying abroad more than 30 medical face masks, to prevent shortages. That regulation was effective until June 30, 2020.

Violations of the Price of Goods and Services Act of 1999 carry penalties of up to five years in prison and/or fine of 100,000 baht.
