Strangely on the flight when they gave us the TM6 forms they also gave another sheet to complete, after filling it in no one has requested it since.
The usual stuff on it, flt no, where you are staying, seat no made me think it may be for contact tracing from the flight, but it is still in my possession.

A friend from the US has been and gone due to unfortunate circumstances. However in the 2 weeks he was here, he never took an ATK test. I'm sure he didn't know that he should. But it was never asked for.

As I reported earlier, I did mine this morning but I’m far from certain uploading the information to the HHH is part of the procedure - I’m half tempted to just let “sleeping dogs lie”?

My mother has been here for 6 days and will take her home test today or tomorrow.

Does anyone know what shape needs to do with the swab results, is there a place where we need to submit/upload the result?

Many thanks in advance.

If you read a few posts back you’ll find the advice, however I tried and didn’t get any proper answer so I’m just leaving things as they are

Hi

Hopefully somebody can help ........ If flying back into Thailand and your flight is scheduled to arrive in the early hours of the morning, do you book the one night "test and Go" hotel for the previous evening, or for the actual date the flight arrives?

I read somewhere that you book it for the previous evening, but you’ll have to be prepared to book a second night in case your result is delayed (but hopefully that won’t be the case).

Trying to get my farang wife back from Scotland is pickling my brain already!

Her proposed flight arrival time would not be a problem arriving in Bangkok ............. I think I was getting confused with departure times leaving Bangkok!! .....  :duck:

I read on Google yesterday that some of the hotels have been caught fleecing tourists arriving into BKK, so if you can afford it, I’d recommend going for one of the better hotels offering the full Thailand Pass package - airport transfer, PCR test, overnight accommodation and antigen test - as its only a one-off charge, a small investment might be worth it in the end. Although I’m not specifically recommended them, I stayed at Grande Centre Point Hotel Terminal 21 and in terms of service they were first class - it cost just over 6,000 Baht for the full package including dinner and breakfast, there are cheaper hotels of course but at least these give you peace of mind that everything is done professionally, including individual airport transfer, not in a shared minibus and PCR testing done at the hotel immediately upon arrival.

Yes, I read the same thing. The article talked about people stranded at the airport, being held to ransom to pay for new all-inclusive hotels, but no action being taken against the scammers.

What will be the next scheme to encourage visitors to Thailand?

I did book a package for us both with a good hotel, it was seamless from arrival to departure. I would recommend doing so.

What you have to remember for 2 people nearly double the price and as for the unmarried rule another scam welcome back.

We are unmarried and no problem with the hotel in the same room. Also it was not actually twice the price.

Thanks Dannie Boy and Big Brother for your replies. :thumb:

B6PTW can I ask what hotel you used?

Might all be a waste of time, despite giving my beautiful wife the recommended list of hotels, along with the Agoda ones which satisfy the "test and Go" requirements ....... she's managed to book a hotel that doesn't mention airport pick up or the Rt -PCR test!!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I might be better to trade her in for a younger model!!!! :duck: :duck: only kidding!
