Extended government services to open at Bluport

A new government service centre at the Blúport Resort Mall, expanding on the current Immigration office, will be opening from 16th September.

Mr. Jeerawat Prahmanee, the permanent secretary of Hua Hin Municipality, says various government offices have combined to open at Blúport making it more convenient for people in Hua Hin to contact and receive comprehensive government services at this ‘one stop’ accessible location.

The new centre will offer the following services:

1. Provincial Transport Office: to provide services related to vehicle licensing.
2. Hua Hin Municipality Office: services will include land and building tax collection, water account payments, complaint resolution counselling in relation to legal matter, child welfare, families, the elderly, the socially disadvantaged and the homeless.
3. Provincial Labor Office: Labor Protection and Welfare, Social Security Office and information services on labor, unemployment registration and job registration and requests for compensation fund benefits, and giving basic advice on labor matters.
4. Provincial Revenue: Tax law consultation, tax document receiving services, VAT registration services and other advice regarding provincial tax matters.
5. Immigration: Visa services related to short-term stays and 90 day notification requirements.
6. Post Office: services for the delivery of various postal items such as letters and parcels, sending money orders and bills of exchange.

The government service centre at the Blúport Hua Hin Resort & Mall will be located on the B floor and will open daily from 10.00 – 18.00 hours on the usual government opening days from 16th September.

I guess they have to fill that empty space with something, and at least this could be useful.
