EU restricts travel from Thailand
European Union member states on Thursday agreed to add Ukraine to a list of countries from which travellers can enter the European Union during the coronavirus pandemic, while Thailand and Rwanda were removed.
The EU's eastern neighbour joins a "green list" of only around 20 countries, which also includes the likes of Canada, Japan, New Zealand and the United States, the bloc said in a statement.

I was expecting the UK to move Thailand from its Amber to Red list this week, but they gave a stay of execution - maybe next time?

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News
We topped 10K yesterday and just one day later we exceed 11K (11,397) deaths above 100.
The regular posters will provide the details.
Another meeting by the CCSA yesterday with proposals for further restrictions including closing ALL businesses in Greater Bangkok and further restrictions on travel. Of course the restrictions are ill enforced. Has anyone seen travel checks anywhere. Some of the cases in PKK are claimed to have been brought in by people from BKK.
There's no light at the end of the tunnel as far as I can tell.

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19) News
The situation there is almost like a full blown version of whats happening here in Aus
while we are in STRICT lockdown number 5 here in Melbourne, with most still obeying the directives , the morons in Sydney, with over 100 new cases a day dont give a stuff about restrictions.
Its pure madness with this Delta strain.
and with no vaccine at all available to under 40's Aust wide
Still a very dark tunnel , HHTel
