I may visit later and see what's what.
So he "wouldn't open unless he believed it" - so why are the others closed, it does not make sence?
"It does not make sense." What, something in Thailand doesn't make sense? I can't believe it. You must have made a mistake.

Ignore my last. Never believe what comes out of someone's mouth without checking it out. The facts are: 1 was opening up for a clean. Another had 'handymen' in and has done some work in the bar and changed the name. And yet another is hosting a 'food cart' so gets away with it as she's selling food.

In all these premises of course, while they were open you could have a 'soft' drink in a paper cup of course.

Nothing's changed!

:lach: Yes, there are many places where you can get your fix - my son is one of the sad gits who sits in the naughty boys back room to get his fun. Crazy in my opinion, but maybe when I could drink Thai beer, I'd have probably been ahead of him in the queue. I'm actually at the 'gagging for a Guinness stage at the moment

Since lockdown, I haven't really missed alcohol. I've got plenty of booze in the house but I've had two glasses since we were 'bubbled'. Not a bad thing I'm sure. What I do miss is the company ....... AWAY from the family!

Update for Hua Hin posted by ฮันตุ่นเฮ้ว on the Facebook page "Hua Hin COVID-19 Community Support"
Cluster in another fruit canning factory (which does not want to be named): +17
NOTE from ฮันตุ่นเฮ้ว : "I updated this post, as it becomes a bit confusing with 2 canning factories with both Burmese workers and the provincial government seems to love to cause even extra confusion by not only leaving the name of the company out but even not publish the timelines of those infected at that factory."

I don't know how many locations that other canning factory has, but its name is mentioned in this timeline for one of today's new cases.

DTHH wrote: Sat May 15, 2021 7:41 pm Hearing from my wife, who's just got back from visiting her mum and sister in Khao Yoi, just north of Petchburi, there's a significant cluster there (30-odd people), with market closed, as well as Robinsons Petchburi.
She is not usually prone to exaggeration so can anyone substantiate this or is it just village gossip?
Seems my wife was right:
https://www.77kaoded.com/news/suwarot/2 ... AbH456FYdo

Basically says '68 cases found in the cluster at a Khao Yoi factory'. :(
Did I just catch a new Hua Hin cluster in Nong Phlub, via Thai PBS news? Seems we are trying to put out fires all over the place.
As with last week with Khao Yoi, just a heads up to be aware and apologies if I'm jumping the gun.
Guessing this is the one hhinner was mentioning above?
