Health & Safety at Work

Post by Felipesed1 »

PEA at Work replacing power poles & lines.

The man climbed to the end of the crane jib and arranged the cables.

Quite impressed - traffic passing under him all the time.

Don't think that could happen in the UK!

Absolutely not - you almost have to get authority to put on your own PPE

I've got that beat. When they were putting the high poles along Soi 112, I saw something I've never seen before or since.
You know how high those pole are and how far apart they are. Well there was this guy making his way from the top of one pole to the next. He had his feet on a lower cable and his hands stretched to one of the upper cables and was side stepping.
