Dailymotion

Post by Big Boy »

Yes, I know I'm a sad git, but I need my UK soaps. I have found many solutions during my 9 years in Thailand, but as each one dies, I've always had torrents to fall back on. A couple of weeks ago, the torrents stopped providing my soaps, and I was distraught. I even considered re-subscribing to the living hell that is HDPrime  I'd normally rather stick hot needles in my eyes.

I did a bit of research, and kept coming back to a site called Dailymotion. It was offering everything I'd ever want and it was free. Eventually, I decided to give it ago, and it was perfect i.e. no buffering. The library seemed quite large i.e. I've done catchup back to 2nd January. I've even found a nice little download tool that allows me to download stuff and transfer onto my tablet for when I want to watch remotely.

I thought I share it, just in case I'm not the only sad git out there.

I've been using DailyMotion for a very long time for 'soaps'. Plenty of uploaders, near perfect and never deleted. You can go back years if need be.
Just in case you're not using the 'direct inroad' to soaps:

I simply google programme name and date aired - Google always brings back what I want as the 1st option.

Thanks, I don't seem to be able to get the search facility to work

Edit, scrap that. Got it now
