From the photo, it certainly looks bigger than 17.5K capacity - impressive though.
All foreign investment it seems - good or bad for the game in the UK?

Re: Premier League 2019-2020
I've been to see both Fulham and Brentford play loads of times over the years, from when I was a kid and you could get in for free at half-time, more so Fulham as many friends are supporters and it was easier to get to and it what's we did when Chelsea were playing away. Although all my family, coming originally from the Sands End area of Fulham - are strictly Chelsea.
So I should be neutral, but my heart say's Brentford. They're a fantastically well managed club and I recall the original idea of a pipe dream to build a new stadium on the site it now sits. It has taken a lot of work and effort, but they did it. A season (at least) in the premiership would be such a fantastic achievement for them.

Yes, but it was pretty disgraceful stuff by all concerned, players falling to the ground and screaming every 2 minutes, and the sending off was blatant cheating. It seems to be an accepted part of the game now - the main reason I don't watch so much football these days.
This is the way

I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

Re: Premier League 2019-2020
I have watched many cup finals throuh the years. This years final was a disgrace. Players claiming a foul when they were not even touched. A referee who was either blind or bribed, that was not a sending off as well as other mistakes. They should have used VAR.I am proud to say I do not suppot either team.
Woke up this morning breathing that's a good start to the day.
Re: Premier League 2019-2020
I agree it was a joke. I'd be fuming if I was a Chelsea fan! Feel sorry for Wolves also. All that time in the Europe places and, after being pipped by Spurs () ,don't even get through by default in 7th.
Oh well.

I'm not fuming. Well done to Arsenal. The referee was as expected - useless. But it was a game too far for us. Next season should be good with the players already purchased and hopefully Willian will sign another contract. Just a new keeper and central defender needed really.

You have to admire Spurs fans, they are not at all plastic, after all, why would anyone actually choose to support them.Bamboo Grove wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2020 2:19 am Sorry, I don't want to be like this but when the Spuds do it, I can't help myself. Also, sorry Caller.

So that's that.
Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich down.
Leeds, West Brom and Fulham up.
All over to the 2020-21 thread now.
