For me too this has been happening on almost every Lazada order for a long time. Do some people shop and spend their money without checking their sums and receipts? Not only the free shipping promotions but also the standard shipping fee shown on product page often gets changed at check-out. Somtimes, immediately after I buy, the product page price becomes updated. As if my purchase triggers that. It is small so i pay and say nothing. But it happens too many times so about 3 months ago i chatted to customer service – their reply = “Delivery charges are set by the seller” my rebuttal = “But we are not talking about the delivery price - we are talking about the delivery cost on the check-out page does not reflect the delivery price shown in the product description page”buksida » Wed Apr 15
Any idea what has happened to the shipping charges? Even the ones that say 'free shipping' now have a shipping charge added when you go to order.
Just tried it with five different things to test and they all wanted to charge a flat 53 baht for shipping no matter whether it was a pack of chili seeds costing 40 baht or a power drill!
Want be easy to buy anything if we do this. Most stuff are made in China!Suua wrote:
What they are asking for is that China acts as a responsible member of the nations of the world. There are plenty examples of their disgraceful conduct to choose from. For those in doubt - human rights, treatment of ethnic minorities, poaching of endangered animal species, intellectual property theft, building military bases in disputed islands, damming the Mekong. Oh and there is the problem the coved pandemic.
US Needs China More Than China Needs the US
The U.S. depends heavily on China for providing the low-cost goods that enable income-constrained American consumers to make ends meet. The U.S. also depends on China to support its own exports; next to Mexico and Canada, China is America’s third largest and by far its most rapidly growing major export market.
And, of course, the U.S. depends on China to provide funding for its budget deficits. It is the largest foreign holder of U.S. Treasury securities – some $1.3 trillion in direct ownership and at least another $250 billion of quasi-government paper. A lack of Chinese buying could turn the next Treasury auction into a rout.
https://www.industryweek.com/the-econom ... eds-the-usPresident Donald Trump continues to single out China as the villain in the great American tragedy, when in fact he should take a careful look in the mirror.
First of all, he continues to insist that the U.S.-China trade deficit is $500 billion, fully one-third larger than the actual figure of $375 billion published by the Commerce Department.
I've said it several times. When there is a delivery charge, it's usually negated on the invoice. Heres an order we submitted in the last hour.Dannie Boy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 15, 2020 2:05 pm I can’t remember buying anything that didn’t have a shipping charge as an extra?
