Good swimming beach with clear water near Hua Hin

Hello, is dolphin bay or ban krut a good idea ?
If you know better places please tell me here.

Ban Krut doesn't have clear water per my understanding.

As a general rule these days IMO, you won't find crystal clear water anywhere along the Thai coastline south or north of Hua Hin.

You need to go out to the various islands like Koh Samui, Koh Tao etc.,

Dolphin Bay is rarely clear but Ao Manao and Ban Krut can get clear water at certain times of year (usually March - June) when winds are low. Ao Manao is not good for swimming as it is too shallow.

There is a little bay between Ban Krut and Bangsaphan called 'Bo Tong Lang' which has deep water and coral and there are many beaches further south.

Unfortunately Hua Hin is not the place to go for clear water!

I think most the shore line from Dolphin bay south is too shallow to be clear, any surf kicks up the silt. As Buksi says Bo Tong Long is deep so usually good, otherwise you have to go to an island.
