This coming Sunday 12 January at 4pm the Beach Heroes will be meeting at Navy Phirom, Hua Hin Soi 53/Naebkehardt Soi 1.

All Heroes, both old and new will be very welcome.

This Sunday The Clean Up Heroes return where they once started. At Toi's laundry shop. Soi Bon Kai 15. Look out for the sign with LAUNDRY and the Green Shirts. It is just behind Ban Krung Poo. See you all at 17:00.

17 Beach Heroes cleared 120 Kg of rubbish today from the beach near Navy Phirom.

There is no physical clean for our Clean Up Heroes this week. Instead, this coming Sunday 19th Jan, from 4pm until 6pm you are invited to a workshop. From their post:

You're invited to join our TRY OUT workshop of making your own FOOD WASTE COMPOST BOX. Also, we'd love to exchange thoughts about how to become a little GREENER for the planet. Meet up at Soi Takiab village 6 (Hua Hin Bike Tours). Please use the provided GPS coordinates.

As usual, I find the Clean Up Heroes directions misleading. The GPS coordinates take you to the B Quick car park, which is where Hua Hin Bike Tours is situated, but I wouldn't call this Soi Takiab Village 6, which I consider to be a couple of miles South. However, volunteer numbers seem to be increasing, so maybe people are rising to the challenge.

This coming Sunday 19th January at 4pm, the Beach Heroes will be meeting near the Pattaya Ferry Terminal on South Takiab Beach.

All Heroes, old and new will be very welcome.

The ferry terminal seems to be a hot spot, it shows up as a target every few weeks.

I wonder if rubbish discarded by passengers, or the drift in type because of the inlet's shape.

I personally think it is to do with the construction of the pier i.e. a lot of boulders. Rubbish is blown and it drops into the cracks between boulders. Also waves carry debris, which comes to rest in the cracks. It is a never ending job keeping it clean.

A team from Bluport helped the Beach Heroes clear 80 Kg of rubbish from near the Pattaya Ferry Terminal on South Takiab Beach earlier today.

The clean Up Heroes look as though they had a lot of fun at this afternoon's workshop.

The Clean Up Heroes had so much fun on the river cleaning from kayaks a couple of weeks ago, they are returning again this Sunday 26th January from 08:30 until 12:00. This event is organised in conjunction with Sirinart Rajini Ecosystem Learning Center.

Volunteer Heroes, both old and new will be welcome to join in.

The Beach Heroes will be meeting at Khao Takiab Soi 1 (Near Amazon) at 4 pm 26th January to clean the beach at the end of that Soi.

All Heroes, young and old, new or old will be welcome.

There was not a lot of trash on the beach yesterday for or Beach Heroes to clean. Despite that, they still managed a 25Kg of Trash.
