Royal Barge Procession re-scheduled for 12 December 2019

This is an event that doesn't happen very often, and one I've always wanted to see. I only found out about the previous event after it had happened, so one for the diary.

After reading about buildings having to close off the view to the event etc., I decided not to go. This is just as well because I've just read the date has moved from 24 Oct to 12 Dec.

There was some decent video on BBC news covering the rehearsal.

The 20th Oct rehearsal is cancelled also.

Apparently it's worth some planning for a 'looksee' as it's quite rare, the last one being in 2012 and it'll be a long time till the next one.

Having said that, it's bound to be shown on TV around the world.

Views are being very restricted, which is why I decided not to go.
