Does anyone know for sure and for certain if a person needs a residence certificate to sell a motorbike?
I know you have to have one to purchase a motorbike but I'm now given to understand that it is also need to sell one. This would be a change as it was not necessary in the past as I have done it a few times without.
Cheers!

Re: Certificate of Residence to sell motorbike?
Just to answer my own question and for others to know . . .
I just sold my motorcycle and I was not asked for the C of R. I was told by a farang who buys and sells a lot of bikes that it was now necessary to not only have the cert to buy (that has long been the case) but is also needed to sell but for my transaction it was not required. I sold the bike to a Thai and maybe that might make a difference? I do not know.
Money in hand - I'm going to go get a massage!
Cheers!
