Using a big clunky UPS with a laptop kinda negates the concept of a laptop. You may aswell get a desktop and not worry about batteries at all!

I bought the battery for my old Acer at Acer service center in Bangkok as I noticed it did not last long enough those few times I had to use it outside our home. Dell has a service center in Bangkok as well. You can contact them at https://www.dell.com/support/incidents- ... us/dynamic
I contacted Dell, they don't have the battery. They don't stock batteries for 7 yr. old computers. Another advantage of living in Thailand.
