Vettel wins and Hamilton made the day exciting. Massa placed seventh in his last race in Brazil.

In our pool Lindosfan had the best race with 13 points. The top three remain Pitsch, Pete and JJBones.

Next up and last up for the season is Abu Dhabi in two weeks time. Good luck to all! :thumb: Pete

I don't like what I'm reading about next season and beyond. Weight of the cars increased significantly because of the new halo device and other additions, and engines limited to 3, down from 4 this year, and 5 in years previous to that. I thought this new F1 ownership regime would make the sport better rather than worse? :?

Hamilton's take is that it will be like driving a bus or a NASCAR car, and we'll see many top drivers starting at the back due to grid penalties based upon the engine restrictions. Also mentioned was drivers "taking it easy" to preserve engines!

Doesn't seem very spectator friendly to me. :banghead: Pete

I despise grid penalties based on power plant replacements, it detracts from the sport. Next year is going to be worse. And those halo's are rediculous.

^ Note: The winning points of 15.5 for Bamboo Grove may change, as Superbru posted results but didn't yet calculate points for the fastest lap. Corrections will be made if needed when they do.

I'm not going to wait for Superbru any longer to update their system. No idea why they are so late with fastest lap scoring as it was available from a dozen sources 30 minutes after the race.

The charts below should read Bamboo Grove 16.5 race points/235 season points, and Vital Spark 14.0/218 . They were the only two to pick Bottas for the fastest lap.

An uneventful race which Bottas lead start to finish.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/42129318

Bamboo Grove had the best race with 16.5 points. The final top three are Pitsch, Pete and JJBones.

Pitsch has lead our tournament since the second race, China, in April. A well deserved championship for him as he's been the most consistent throughout the season and has 5 first place finishes, more than anyone else. Well done Pitsch!

That's a wrap folks. Thanks for playing. Pete :thumb:

Thank you. I had luck at the first races and could defend my first place then. Looking forward to next year.

Well done pitsch.

Personally, I'm quite happy with my 5th place overall - still using my system, so no thought whatsoever put into my selections.

Congratulations Pitsch! A well deserved win :D

And thank you Pete for setting up and managing the tournament so well throughout the season, it's very much appreciated.

So, I think it's lights out in Australia in about 120 days or so...
