Your spot on as usual redzonerocker mate and will drink my black velvet w/ strong bow draft any day of the week and twice on Sunday and for sure proud to be from the very British peasant stock…and having Guinness w/ Champagne is more Frenchy isn’t it , just won’t do in a very British Roller.redzonerocker wrote: ↑Sun Nov 26, 2017 2:58 amNow that's a proper poor man's Black Velvet, . . . . maybe you should be in the back of a Ford Fiesta?

Apparently first created in London!
Although Prince Albert was German of course. The Black Velvet is a beer cocktail made from a stout (often Guinness) and white, sparkling wine, traditionally Champagne. The drink was first created by the bartender of Brooks's Club in London in 1861, to mourn the death of Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's Prince Consort.

Yes, deleted that one as well. I think the last one, the one where the writer admits it is off-topic "but oh well" is a sufficient amount of work to do as an example.
