Did you get a return ticket, it was my understanding you have to purchase your return ticket in Pattaya.

I think the one-way restrictions were during the free period. If you think about it, they were making it up as they went (not meant as a derogatory comment), and there weren't even any offices when they started. I would hope that now they're charging, their admin is now operating correctly.

It leaves every day from HuaHin at 1.30pm. Timetable will change in April. Ticket office is at the pier.phone 038 488 999, 098 625 9949 Line ID @royalferry

What will happen at the fishing pier though? I noticed they have built a 'terminal' for the ferry there as well? Will that be for fair weather berthing?

Maybe that will be used in the future if/when more ferries come on line.

Follow the road past the Amari to the end where the police box is. Bend right and follow past the temple on your right. Turn left into the soi just after 'The Oasis' on your left. Follow that soi down to the beach and you will see the pier and ferry office.
