Blueport Grand Opening
Just saw an advert announcing the grand opening of Blue Port and thought I'd share.

I think the moderator is being a bit heavy handed here. The advert was a one off hopefully and surely of interest to forum members.

New fridges and some may have noticed there are new check-outs. No more pushing your produce to the cashier. It's quite a major shift and I'm sure it's because of Blueport opening in just over a month. I'm told that the supermarket there is TOPS. Can anyone confirm this?
I'm glad to see a Uniqlo. Their cheap t-shirts wick sweat excellently.

I drove past there yesterday and they've still got a lot of work to do to open on the 1st of October!
Re: Hua Hin Blu Port Mall in the pipelines
Always tickles me how such cringe worthy English is used on a website aimed at farangs!
Now I happen to have met one or two people who work for this company that could do much better. An asst. general manager of one of their Malls was educated in America and speaks excellent English, albeit with an American slant on things. But I'd settle for a few 'z's' and missing vowels compared to what's on that website!
(And I am well aware of my own limitations, so no need to come here and tell me so).

It always makes me cringe also. However it certainly gets my attention. Whether or not I grasp the intended point of the advert is a completely different matter.

Don't get too excited - it must be really exclusive - I got TWO. One addressed to me and one to Dear Sir / Madam at the Lodgedtaai-maai wrote:Received in the post an invite to opening day with an M Card for expats offering 5% discounts and points that can be redeemed...

Seriously, where are they getting the names of Farangs in the area? I can only think of 3 places that should hold my name and address, and they should not be sharing that information.
