Felipe Massa has been excluded from the Brazilian GP after his tyres were found to breach temperature limits before the race.

The Williams driver finished his home race in eighth, but has been disqualified for exceeding the revised parameters to ensure tyre safety introduced at the Italian GP by Pirelli following Sebastian Vettel's blow-out at Spa. The Grove-based team are expected to appeal the ruling.

The exclusion of Massa moves Lotus' Romain Grosjean up to eighth, Toro Rosso's Max Verstappen to ninth and the second Lotus of Pastor Maldonado into the points in 10th.

Hamilton had the same problem earlier this season nothing happened they proved the thermostat was not working correctly.

As an FYI...with the points adjustment due to Massa's disqualification in Brazil, Lindosfan is tied with MWBrown (22.5 British) for the highest scoring race of the season. Pete
