Video: women drivers in Thailand

... but hardly surprising.

[Bangkok Post]
A video of a woman applying make-up with both hands while driving a car on a Bangkok road has drawn heavy criticism in the online community.
It was recorded by another woman, a passenger sitting next to the driver.
The passenger was holding the steering wheel with one hand and recording the incident with the other. The driver's feet were still on the pedals.

But she looks very much like a Thai Hi-So...which means in this country she can do what she wants behind the wheel
of her car (or daddy's car)..there are no traffic laws for Hi-So's here..even if/when you kill someone..!!

Hard to believe ...

Post by hhinner »

One morning in a small soi in Bangkok, before smartphones and DVRs, I was driving behind a small red-plated car being driven by a young lady who was also doing her make-up. Of course the rear-view mirror had been suitably adjusted. The soi was quiet without much traffic. The road came to right-angle bend, which the young lady successfully navigated, only to run head-on into a power pole at the the side of the road about 5 meters on. Fortunately she was only doing 10 or so kmh, so no injury. But so much for her nice new car. Lucky no one was walking at that spot though.

Although it is very much what looks like a Bangkok taxi passing.... Little Rich Girl's imported car perhaps?

This woman is a silly arrogant bitch and a product of.......I'll stop right there.

The young know no bounds these days when it comes to self-entitlement, vanity, arrogance and the idea that it's "me" and that the rules don't apply to them.

This Matrix clip always resonates with me when I'm teaching....................

I think you will find the phone camera was in "selfie" mode which reverses the image so making it look like it is left hand drive.
Pretty stupid regardless both for doing it and filming it. Was a Mercedes so obviously not someone on the breadline.
