Bike crash miracle
Check out this video

AN AUSSIE motorbike rider has captured the dramatic moment he was rear-ended by a car.
The unidentified rider can be seen travelling along a busy road until he comes to a stop behind a number of cars.
Within seconds, a car smashes into him from behind, the force appearing to flip him into the air. Somehow he manages to land on his feet

Does anyone know of a decent bike shop in or near HH that could cope with a Suzuki 1200 service and repairs? Before considering the purchase I would like to know it won't be a struggle down here.

Demo Racing seems to be decent I haven't had repairs done but they do work almost exclusively on big sport bikes. They have a good selection of mods, helmets, leathers and tires. They put new Pirelli's on my new Versys and PCX plus a nice rear hugger, service was good.
They are located opposite the u-turn after the Ford dealer the owner doesn't speak much English I would suggest visiting them and asking if they can do the servicing for the bike you want.

Just a suggestion as I don't know the answer, but it might be worth trying the Ducati bike shop two thirds the way towards Cha Am. As a side issue, they are building a huge new showroom/workshop next to the existing building, at least three times the size of the current place.

Thanks HHCanuk, I know the place. I stopped there once to look at the CB650F they had for sale. Will take to lady to help translate and see what they say.
I wouldn't mind a nice Ducati but can't really spend that much so going down the used bike route. Will stop and see them too as they might have some ideas.
Cheers all.

Have just brought my Rukka bike jacket back from UK and will be selling it but not sure which will be the best places to advertise or how much it is worth over here as the market for something like this is limited. It is the Arma S type textile size euro 62 UK 52 so would fit a larger person. Anyone have any ideas as it cost about 500 pounds new so should get a decent price here.

On my way back to BKK the other day, I stumbled onto a brand new BMW Motorrad dealer about 40KM south of BKK on Rt35 on your left.... MF BMW Motorrad, Muang Sumet Sakorn Great people nice showroom and establishment they have setup... I met the owner and the couple that run it, both are riders and they are from Hua Hin.... Will be getting the promotion they have from the Motor Show and make my decision whether to pull the trigger... BTW BMW makes the F800R and F800GS in Thailand so decent pricing on both... Just sayin...

Went to the Motorshow last weekend. Whilst not fully committed to a new bike, I kinda had something in mind. Particular wanted to the new Multistrada and the BMW S1000XR (I'm not a natural BMW fan).
The BMW was truly awesome. BMW have done a wonderful job designing this bike really for the non-BMW rider!
The new Multistrada was really wonderful too, less impressive than the ealry photos had suggested, and, at present, way over priced. Assembly in Thailand will start in November, and that will bring the price down.
When I had left, I had ordered the BMW. Unfortunately, I have to wait until end of September for delivery. Am counting the days!

On behalf of those of us who have to think very carefully about whether we can afford to upgrade from a Honda Wave 110 to a 125, can I just say how very happy I am for you!
