I agree with Flyboy.
Treat the girls nicely with respect and kindness and you won't believe the fun you'll have and the friends you'll make.
If the girls like and respect you , you will have less likely a chance of being ripped off.
I think you run a bigger risk of being ripped off in BKK or Pattaya vs. Hua Hin.
I personally never heard of a girl ripping someone off in Hua hin.
I have been going there for the last 3 years for several months at a time.

Oh by the way, most of the girls talk to each other and each guy will have a certain reputation. If you have a reputation for treating girls poorly it will catch up with sooner or later no matter where you are.

But always keep your head straight regarding your money and passport.
Always know and keep track where those items are.
Don't leave large sums of money and or valuables in plain sight for anyone to see when visiting your room.
Even though most people are honest temptation can even get the best of the most honest people sometimes. So don't tempt them.

A good rule I always follow is:
If you would not do it back at home don't do it here !!!!
I would never leave large sums of cash or valuables in plain sight back home especially with someone I just met for the evening.
So why would I do it here?

im always glad to get to hua hin for the polite stunning girls, they are not the hardened bar girls like bangkok and pattaya...

Rip offs can happen anywhere including Hua Hin. I recall a very powerful readers submission on another board which involved a bar girl from Hua Hin but having said that I agree that the average here is less hardened than her conterpart in Bangkok or Pattaya

Times must of changed somewhat since I last was in town.
When I was last in town the girls while not ugly or anything were certainly not stunners or beautiful, a minority yes but the majority... no.
Or maybe its in what the person sees! And how much drink is consumed!

In the three times I have been to Hua Hin I have never encountered an impolite or mean-spirited woman! In fact, they were all rather humourous and extremely polite. They have a "sixth sense" these girls...they know instinctively when to move in, and when to hover on the periphery. I make a hundred new friends each time I stroll down the sois....

Ah, my friends, we all know the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. BKK, HH, Pattaya, Phuket. There are girls enough for all tastes in every place. If you can't find one to suit, move around, but don't parade her in front of the locals as a "trophy"..... Just git shaggin'

There is a plentiful choice of girls in Hua Hin although the nicest ones invariably are those who aproach you & as matey said, i find them kinder and friendlier then bangkok types
