The crowd could see the winger's growing excitement at the prospect of scoring.

Exhibit three in the trial of Father O`Malley, sportsmaster at St. Joseph`s, who insisted this version of the game came to him in a vision.

An update on the forthcoming 'Guest Judge' trial. We currently have 3 volunteers, 4 if I include myself - still room for more, just send me a PM advising your willingness to judge.

The peasants are revolting :D

A couple of members objected to the proposed trial, so although it isn't broken, I thought that I'd include the reasons behind it.

- The competition has been running since 10 February 2010 - well over 4 years.

- My organisation, which includes preparation of judging papers, communication with judges, collating results and publishing results takes a dedicated 2 hours weekly.

- Using just 4 x 52 week years (208 weeks) @ 2 hours per week (416 hours), that means the competition has taken 17 days out of my life so far.

- The competition has been too time consuming, and it is becoming difficult some weeks to meet the Thursday/Friday deadlines.

- So many enjoy the competition, I don't want to cancel it, but I have been looking for a method that will give similar results without spoiling things too much.

Please be assured that when I start the alternate week 'Guest Judge' trial, if it doesn't work, then I will simply revert back, and look for another solution. Constructive feedback during the trial will be welcomed.

Sorry if I am missing something but how does having guest judges reduce your time? You organise and administer. Judges just respond to what you feed them. So my thinking is that your time is not reduced at all. Just your panel of judges changes.
