Yes indeed a very good evening and Henry (with a little prompting from Linda) were able to put their own words to a number of events that we'd seen and read on the blog. They certainly have more courage than I have in undertaking their "Epic Journey", but by all accounts this has only served to whet there appetite for more adventures - hopefully the north to South America adventure will win over the road trip back to the UK.

I'd also like to thank Henry & Linda for tonight's presentation - I thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed it, as did the others sitting at my table.

I also like to thank Dave for letting us use Terrace 90 for the event. I thought the venue was perfect, and we all enjoyed the food.

... and may we thank everybody involved in the evening for making it such fun.

This obviously includes Big Boy and Norseman for helping to organise the event, who both battled against all odds to make it happen, and it did!

Above all else, it includes everybody there - it was interesting to meet people whom we both knew through the forum, and who even knew each other through the forum, but who had never actually met in the flesh. It was like a party of old friends who had never previously met, and it was great fun.

To have the opportunity to talk (too much) about our trip to such an intelligent, informed and understanding audience was nothing less than a real pleasure. Our thanks again.

We managed to drive all the way back up from Hua Hin to Nakhon Pathom this afternoon, but somehow that particular trip doesn't quite warrant a presentation. We are already planning our next adventure, but that starts with a huge lottery win...

Thanks again to all there - we had a fabulous evening and hope to repeat it after our next 'episode' -

Henry and Linda

P.S. In answer to a question from last evening, yes, we are putting the whole thing together as a book, and if anybody would like a copy, either electronically or in feelable format, do please pm me, or Linda (Vital Spark) and we will do our best to get it to you. We are not intending to do this commercially in any way at all, so everything will be free or 'at cost'. Would be good to hear from you if you feel like it. H + L.

LOL, I started reading, and was thinking, "Parahandy? Who the hell was Parahandy? Was he even there? Did I meet him?"

A couple of paragraphs down, and the penny dropped - I thought it was funny, anyway. It's not as if I've not been thrashed by Parahandy in the F1 League for a couple of years :D

Speaking for my table, only I had read the blog. Yes, I'd told people about the amazing trip you guys were undertaking. The other 5 were mainly there for the food. 3 of my table are now reading the blog because they were really impressed with your presentation. The other 2 are Thai, and would struggle with the blog. So definitely a big thumbs up from our table.

I'm currently uploading the smallest segment of video to You Tube, and it doesn't look too clever. I'll send you the link later, but I'm not too happy with it.
