Yes, it's all around that headland - I wasn't going to mention that because it's a very popular spot . But now that you mention it .......................

Actually the photos are a public service. So many years of people talking about the hazards and these are the first photos per my memory. Seems like low tide but I can imagine that at high tide they would all be hidden except for the largest.Big Boy wrote:Yes, it's all around that headland - I wasn't going to mention that because it's a very popular spot . Wat Etisukatow
Just off the Pala-U Road on the way to the Elephant Village. I'd heard about this very colourful temple, and thought I'd go for a look. It is still significantly work in progress in terms of building, but very much worth a visit.

Great picture Big Boy! Another place I have not seen until now.
I have spent many an afternoon with a beverage, at the small seating area behind the temple
where your got your picture of the Hilton area beach. Great place to escape the sun and cool
down with a beer etc.

I took a wander around the Birthday Lights yesterday evening. I must say that I was very disappointed that many of the 'special displays' had been turned off already.

Need some motivation to photograph the beach, piers or harbors? June 17-19 has some of the lowest tides of the year.

I don't suppose it was something like Razor Clams was it - normally bury themselves just below the surface close to the water....
Cracking photo GN - used to see some spectacular electrical storms when working in SA.
