In fairness to Manu fanes, there aren't many defending Young, they genuinely don't seem to like it. Of course, if he was a better player......?

I wasn't having a dig at anybody other than the cheapskate Young, in trying (and actually) conning the ref into giving them a penalty. Good to see that even his own fans seem to be disowning him and that with a bit of luck, he will soon be somebody else's problem.

I expected BG to have come on line praising his teams performance in Germany tonight. I guess he must have gone out to get rat-arsed instead! :D

Pleased with my boy's result as well, especially after Saturday. Still work in progress, but moving in the right direction.

A brilliant result for Arsenal....well done ! :thumb:
Is it right that they have won 14 and drawn 1 of their last 15 away games ?
A record that is certainly going to take a bit of a knock this weekend !

I didn't find the performance to be too fluid but the result was perfect. As it was almost midnight here when the match finished and it's working day today, I didn't stay up much later after the match. The adrenaline was on high levels after the match, though. :D

Also the group is still wide open, any of the three teams can finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd so it's not as relaxing postition as in (for the time being anyway) the PL.

Olympiakos was the best draw United could have hoped for....decent draw for Chelsea,too.....Drogba v Terry. :rasta:
I quite fancy Citeh to turn Barcelona over if they can get their away form sorted out.Barca arent quite the team they were under Guardiola.
Arsenal....oh dear.....didnt they lose to Bayern in last years quarter finals ?.....difficult to see them progressing, tbh.

Lost at home, beat them away, in the end BM looked quite panicky, they thought a win was a foregone conclusion.

Ah well. the draw suggested two big games, but what we got was an anti-climax with City last night and again with Arsenal tonight. I can't see either side pulling this back - at the knock out stage.

How many times has Szczesny been shown a red card now? And to make matters worse Sky caught his 'wanker' gesture as he left the park. Video in this report:

Twice for us & once for Poland.

Ridiculous law to be fair.
'Denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity', . . . . . . . i'm sure they had a penalty just after the incident?
Though we had to wait until Robben had collected his gold medal for his triple somersault/quad roll routine & to get presented with his Oscar for his performance in 'Footballer gets shot by a sniper in the crowd' death scene.
Despite all his rolling around in agony, he made quite a swift recovery.
