I am terrible at cryptic clues and football but guess that there is a connection to Ossie Ardiles Please excuse me as it’s been a long Sunday liquid lunch

thanks for the info on buckleys eric.where exactly is it in hua hin is it near the bintaba area?can you take the girls out of the bar do you know the bar fine 300/400 i will be there in april so any info would br great
Buckley's is a great bar. The prices are the same or less than other bars in the area and I thought it was a very enjoyable sports bar. It is near the Hilton (3 min walk maybe) but I never actually looked at the street name. I can check my googlemap track if you need to know exactly where it is but if you walk from the market by the Centara Grand past the Hilton, which will be on the right, it is down a side street to the left. Hope that helps. Don't forget to tip your bartender, they need to make a living too.
Cheers,
Greg

RICHARD OF LOXLEY
It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.
I live in the US and I went to Hua Hin on vacation. The review is kind because I actually enjoyed it and went there most nights I went out. Go, or don't go. It doesn't matter to me. I saw this forum and the question about the bar and answered. Nothing more, nothing less. There are lots of bars in Hua Hin pick one you like or go to them all, it just depends on what you like.
I like watching the Rugby and Football in Buckleys because the music is turned off and you can hear the commentary.
In the words of Alan Whicker, "The girls are noticeably approachable" as well.
(See you in 8 days time):-)

tuppence, that is the trouble with that soi, very little footfall, I think Buckleys used to be two bars, Stevie Gs and an American owned Air Con bar.
Limelight bar near Murphs is at the junction; left side for Buckleys, right side for Jungle Juice. No girls for rent here though, well to the best of my knowledge anyway. :-)
I was reading on another forum about February 14th, obviously Valentines Day, but also Maccha Buddha day in 2014, on a Friday as well, many bar owners Mai Sabai.
Also bars may be closed on the 2nd February for the Elections if they go ahaed, and I believe that the bars also close the weekend before to allow people to go back to their home towns.
