Here is a ride through downtown Hua Hin, pretty quiet at this time of year ...

Apologies for the audio, YouTube penalises you if you add music.

Another nice video. Didn't seem quite as sharp as the first though. I could hear the bike engine, which is sound enough. I've got plenty of music if I want to listen to music :D

Why do YouTube get funny about adding music to you're own content.

Looking at the position of the sun, I would guess at last Wednesday at about 10:15

The other day I watched a Faithless gig live at the Brixton academy that someone had unofficially uploaded.

BB is pretty spot on with the time and date.

Once you have enough views on your YT channel they give you the option to monetise your videos by adding Google ads, this is only available on videos with the original audio (not third party music). What I dont get is that YT still flaps if you use one of the thousands of royalty free songs available.

Here's a video I shot at the Black Mountain Water Park in April (2013) with Mrs J.B. when little C.B. came over during the school holidays. It's a fun day out although the fun police stop you taking in any food or drink as you have to buy it in the park through a cashless card system. The little red helmets also made me laugh, considering the attitude to head protection on the roads!

Good video. A waterproof camera I assume, and a lot of guts coming down that one slide backwards while filming. I'm surprised at the helmets also. They don't even do that at the water slide parks in California, probably the most regulated State in the USA. Lovely family you have there. :thumb: Pete

Cheers, guys, you're very kind. Video has been a hobby of mine for some years now and one day I'd love to make it a full time career...but I'd probably get bored too quickly and a regular pay cheque for the day job is still most welcome :-|

The camera is waterproof, it's an early GoPro Hero HD, similar to what Buksi is using for his bike rides but mine's a little dated now; still good though. I have some other clips from the Night Market with another camera and elsewhere so I may post some of them in the coming weeks.

Again, thanks for the positive comments and you're right - I'm very fortunate with my family. Little C.B. is 14 next month  - I hope she stays as lovely as she is now...but she's discovering boys so I have to be on my guard! :guns:

Great vid, some nice effects in there, what software do you use to edit it?

Thanks, Buksi, I use Final Cut on a Mac. This one was done with Final Cut X because it's pretty quick and the edit wasn't too complicated but for a lot of my work-related footage I still use the Studio version as I find it more precise.

I'm lucky that my company buys a lot of my software and such like because I do a lot of 'talking heads' interview stuff and it means I also have a lot of extra filters and effects. In the past they even bought some of the gear I use but those days are long gone now!

OK, buksi's mounted cam it's not. Correct camera orientation it's not - you'll have to lay down to appreciate it properly. However, it's the first of several sideways videos taken while driving through the rain in Hua Hin today.

This video was taken on the new road from Soi 88 to Soi 94 going past the back entrance to Market Village. The funny thing is that this is a one way road, and I was driving in the right direction.

Again, sorry for the wrong camera rotation.

[Edit] Video orientation corrected
