There was a hell of a downpour most of the afternoon, created a mini lake on my lawn. It's been raining on and off for the past few weeks, with some fairly heavy showers interspersed with more moderate rain - the good news is that I haven't had to water the garden.

I'm considering heading back to Northwest England for some clear skies.

Was I just lucky? We were in HH early June this year, apart from one heavy ish shower in the evening it was sunny and dry the whole time. I am just reading a few previous weather posts regarding rain and storms. Made me think I had been very lucky, thinking of July next year, what weather can I expect please ?

About the same as June. Maybe a little more overcast.

I would say that July this year has been more cloud/rain than sun, but it is going to be a mixed bag but you need to expect some rain.

Ok, you guys probably allready know this. But I´ve done some deep dives into statistics and compared HH, Phukek and Ko Samui. And compared between this tree, the weather situation is historically the most stable in HH.

I´ve also done some off season trips to HH, and have been very satisified with the weather.

Hi Turtle2012; Where did you dive in Hua Hin? I normally go to Koa Tao for diving and once at Similain island. I want to do some more dive around Hua Hin when I move back there. So the weather in Hua Hin is better than other sites?

Anybody has an idea about what the weather normally is like in late October, early November?

Thailand is usually quite wet at that time.
