If you know her that well, presumably you'll mention this incident to her and suggest she does something about it?
You would only think about it if you were built like North of the Lions. Size and build wise you would then be on an even keel. not sure if North would have the speed and wit to handle a Muay Thai katoey though

I would only think about it if I was
(a) her boss
(b) Thai
as stated by Daywalker.
I spoke with someone today who was sat in the bar next to the lb when it happened
his record of events are very different to what the ops friend is saying
the guys thai gf got 2 slaps for bad mouthing the lb
the thai gf and the guy were told to leave , which they did
the guy then tood at the bottom of the stairs and at least 3 times offered the lb out very aggressively
on the third occasion he got what he asked for
one question for the op, is your friend here on holiday? if so does he not have holiday insurance? would have been quite an easy one to explain the wounds away as a bike accident, though the hospitals would probably just push it through on insurance anyway

again theres allways 2 side of a story.
In my country some insurances will not cover a rented motorbike accident but this is TIT so you should be able to find a way around.
Its really amassed me that some people not have a insurance when they are on a holiday in a place like Thailand, not speaking about this guy.
No matter what happend that day i wish him a speedy recovery and take care out there,we come from another culture and things can be misunderstood very quickly.

Oh Yeah? Then you should know that the "owner" you mention sold out a few months ago and in fact does not now own any part of WH bar not to mention she also moved her accounting office off of Soi 80.
Not that I want to confuse you with the facts . . . .
1) If you, or your partner don't like LBs, then don't go to a bar that's run by one. If you come across an LB run bar mistake, pay your bin and move on - don't make an issue.
2) Many (most?) LBs are mentally screwed up to some degree. They are usually volatile, emotionally. Don't have any sort of dealings with them if you can't cut them some slack.
3) LBs are men, and mostly have the same strength as men. When they lose their rag, they are dangerous, and other LBs nearby are likely to support them in any scrap.
4) Fact: When farangs get into a fight with LBs, they usually lose - so don't go there..
I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I shall be sober and you will still be ugly...
I'm very new here so my opinion won't count for much, but I think the level of conversation would be of a higher quality if we stayed away from gender stereotypes. This isn't just to be politically correct. There are many many ladyboys who live their lives just like any other person and deserve to be respected as such.
Consider:
Haven't you ever heard of a bar fight before, and what percentage involved ladyboys?
The original post was of a concerned friend of the victim who deserves the facts he is searching for, not bigotry.

Tom you don't live here and many farang residents have local bars which they frequent to meet friends. A one off incident may prompt them to move on but return the next day. To my knowledge White House bar has never had trouble before so I doubt whether their regulars will bat an eyelid. In any case the owner, mamasan, girls/katoeys on parade will have already painted the picture. It will be the farangs fault. IT ALWAYS IS
It will all blow over until it happens in another bar down the road. To be honest, most trouble between farangs and bars is usually because the farang is drunk and/or has an attitude problem.

Alleycat has also mentioned 2 other incidents involving the same chap/thing, so one-off doesn't come into it.
However, the old addage any publicity is good publicity is probably coming into play. I wonder how many have visited Whitehouse Bar just to take a look since this thread started.

Yes you are new to here OK,'' BUT'' and there always is.
Ladymen, they're not boys, they are sick and very dangerous. They prey on the weak and anybody that goes with them I would say is sick as well. Steer clear, they don't mix well.
Slapping on some lipstick and eyelashes doesn't change the fact that they're men.
Genetically they have an X and a Y chromosome -- even if they lop off their knob.
