Nice easy one...
What is it and where would you find one in Thailand ?

I don't know the answer to the second part of the question but yesterday I saw a transporter on the bypass with eight of these on it in full race livery.

Bristolian is correct, told you it'd be easy.

I was quite surprised to see them and can only assume that they were heading off to a race somewhere and a bit of webvestigation led me to this

but these are Exiges (aren't they?) and I'm sure what I saw were Evoras but it's possible that with all the livery I was mistaken.

After a bit of digging on the net, the Lotus Club of Thailand had an event with the Thailand Super series at Sepang in Malaysia last weekend and mentions nine Lotus Elise:

That'll be them, Elises, not Evoras and not Exiges, I hang my head in shame.

Police: Gutted cars had 'no owner'

http://www.bangkokpost.com/breakingnews ... d-no-owner

NAKHON RATCHASIMA: No one has claimed ownership of the six luxury vehicles involved in Wednesday’s fire which destroyed four of them and caused damage estimated at about 100 million baht, police said.

Police said the blaze burned a Lamborghini, a Ferrari, a BMW and a Bentley worth more than 100 million baht. A Lamborghini alone is said to be worth more than 40 million baht.

I would think the 'owner' would be pretty gutted too, not just that they've gone up in flames but someone had fitted them with LPG tanks?
I saw an orange Aventador I think (given my failure to identify a Lotus earlier it could've be a Gallardo) in town last week, I'll need to look out for it at the LPG station !

Lamborghini Crash Survivor: Amulet Saved My Life :D

(30 May) A CEO who crashed his 34 million-baht Lamborghini into several electric poles and survived without serious injury credited his luck to the amulet he was wearing.

The incident took place near Chonburi′s provincial transport hub on Sukhumvit Road. Arriving at the scene, police found a crashed Lamborghini, license plate ณ-6091, with its tires exploded, parked on the road after hitting into 2 electric poles and 2 trees.

Mr Somkiat Kruwongpaiboon, 45, was waiting for the police with minor injuries. He said he worked as a managing director at Asian Steel Bar Company.

Mr. Somkiat told police he was driving from Bangkok to attend his father′s funeral at a temple in Chonburi, which is 5 km from the accident site. He said it was raining heavily and he eventually lost the control of his car, spinning it several times before hitting roadside electric poles and trees.

He said he was wearing Great Garuda amulet, surrounded by tiny diamonds, at the time of the accident, which he believed contributed to his miraculous survival :thumb:

Yes, I noticed that! A Lamborghini dosent have enough room for an overnight bag, never mind an LPG tank. Probably just more bad reporting.
