The Thailand Photo Thread
Re: The Thailand Photo Thread
For the technically minded - ISO 6400 and a 2 second exposure.
This is the best effort after about 70 shots, there was too much cloud about which obscured the lightning.

Nice. What are you shooting with?

I took this with a D700 and a 24mm lens.
Not cheap admittedly but it helps to keep me on the straight an narrow!

I will try to remember to do that going forward. I am using a Nikon D60 with the Nikon 18-200mm VR (original version) most of the time.

Gotta love the combination of a big sensor, good glass and somebody who knows how to use them.

Will attempt to remember. The forum software does not strip out the EXIF data. There are browser add-ons which read EXIF, or one can download the photo and use a photo viewer. Can't suggest any programs because I only use Linux.zeitgeist wrote:Just been through this whole thread, the quality of the photo's are amazing. Can anyone tell me what the name of this plant is. It is quite showy - about 3 meters tall and large flowers. It looks to be in the mint or verbena family - opposing leaves.
