Luis Suarez is Liverpool's Lionel Messi, says Brendan Rodgers

The BBC really has gone downhill.

Shoulder.

It was from a 70 yard ball, that's what makes it more unreal.

Because that would just be a half decent hit no matter what angle you see it from.

Then any half decent goalie would have saved it :tosser:

No need for the wanker emoticon.

It was a good hit, I didn't say it was lucky, easy, lacking in skill. It was a great strike. But you see one or two every week.

The Suarez one was different class though, I still remember Bergkamps similar one, it's a piece of worldclass skill that not many could do.

Christ, it's had Beckham talking about it from his retirement in LA, Phil Thompson saying it's one of the best he's seen at Anfield.

We can all put one top bin but to take a 70 yard ball perfectly whilst fending off one of the best defenders in the league, 2nd touch rounding a top keeper then slotting it in is goal of the season material.

You seem to have a real chip on your shoulder about Liverpool or me Sateeb, relax, it's a football thread, it's for talking about the sublime and laughing at the ridiculous, not calling each other wankers.

It's all tongue in cheek.

That's the thing, I like Rodgers, I like his ideals, but the bloody breakthrough come from a punt up the pitch.

We've got the youngest 1st 11 in the league, we need points not pretty passing upto the box and then clueless, we need to mix it.

I'm happy with the Football and the kids getting games but we need to start picking up points.

Saying that, we could finish 10th and the Manager needs a couple of years. The 2 constant trends at the top are long-term managers or massive investment, in 1 case both.

Just read this bit of news concerning the spuds fans :?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20244204

Got to say it hasn't been recieived to well by my spud buddies & personally i find it quite laughable too.

Best thing is, it's being proposed by 'The Society of Black Lawyers ' , the society that you have to be black to belong to :?

Kick out racism eh?

A load of bollocks!

It's racist in itself.

The society of black lawyers and Piara Powar have got a bit to much to say for themselves in my opinion.

Publicity seekers.

There's been talk of a Black PFA. Sooooooo, I'm sure Rio will be head of the queue being half black, is Suarez allowed in being 1 quarter black?

Imagine the outcry if their was a society of white lawyers or a white PFA?

These idiots actually put back the racism campaign with their nonsense, not that I even think there's a problem with racism in English football.

I've noticed the PC beeb are giving them a lot of space on the sports pages. They ran a headline about players being sacked if found racist, turns out it was the same group (Rio and Frimpnng would be pleased, wouldn't they). Can't understand the beeb in general at moment, I noticed a lot of bias coming into their general news reporting prior to the Saville thing. Not quite sure whats happening there to be honest.

In fairness the Ferdinand mafiia and most other black players have said they don't agree with a black PFA.

You looking forward to Liverpool's Luis vs Chelsea's LuLz Caller?

Got to be honest, not that we've been battered this season, but I'm fearing a thrashing.

That 3 behind Torres is dangerous.
