Mary was beginning to think that the other guests might be taking the idea of a 'Murder Dinner' just a little too seriously...

In a 'food for points' scandal, GLCQuantum laid on a slap up meal for the Caption Competition judges.

Now then girls, there are three of us and four of them, so which one of us has the biggest appetite?

[Good spot, Dannie Boy - forgive me if I take advantage...]

They were one wife short at the wife-swapping dinner, but it was pretty clear who would have to double up...

No-one really wanted the Johnsons to attend the wife swapping parties after Mrs Johnson passed away, but they were too polite to tell them.

Toms comment about Mrs Pedersons pearl necklace really wasn't suitable at all.

Shortly after the horribly awkward 6 minute silence at the table had been swiftly ended by George's suggestion of a game, the guests started to wonder if playing 'Let's see who can stay still the longest' was the best choice they could have made.

OK, who is going to tell Obama he did not win?

Celia decided to display her new boob job by offering to pour the wine. The men, however, we're desperately looking in any other direction to try to convince the ladies that they hadn't noticed.

I've obviously had a sense of humour failure this week. I don't find the winning entry even the remotest bit funny - still, proof that the competition has totally independent judges :? . This week's top 5 are:

5th GLCQuantum with "From the looks on everyone's faces, Clive was brutally aware that his prostitute's makeover for the dinner hadn't fooled anyone." (20 Points)

4th dtaai-maai with "They were one wife short at the wife-swapping dinner, but it was pretty clear who would have to double up..." (22 Points)

3rd dtaai-maai with "Dinner with the Hendersons was always a riot." (24 Points)

2nd Frank Hovis with "No-one really wanted the Johnsons to attend the wife swapping parties after Mrs Johnson passed away, but they were too polite to tell them." (33 Points)

1st place goes to dtaai-maai with "From the awkward silence Mary suddenly realised with horror that she had her ELBOWS ON THE TABLE!" (35 Points)

Thank you very much to all who participated. Better luck next time to those who didn't win.
dtaai-maai you now have until 23:59 on 8 Jul 12 to post the next entry. Competition results will be announced on 13 Jul 12.

Big Boy's favourite: "This week's competition is now closed.

The judges will announce the results shortly."
