True to style of the Development i'm in, for the fourth time now we've had our cable cut by the developer who doesn't bother to advise/notify ahead of time.
So along we toddled to TOT to request them to come out and repair the line and were advised they do not provide this service and we should use a local guy who does it. I could see BT back home saying this....
Anyway, the guy the wife contacted yesterday who advised he's be here at 10:00am has not turned up and it is now after 1:00pm and still a no show. This could not happen at a worse time for me as i'm supposed to participate in a teleconference tonight with the team back in Canada.
If anyone knows of someone who can run a replacement cable and get me back up running i'd appreciate if they could drop the details on a PM to me.

I'm not sure it works well to repair it. The time we had a break in ours (rats again!) the entire cable from the pole at the street to the connection in the house had to be replaced (60 or 70 meters) at a pretty high cost. It was years ago but I thought TOT did the work. Big Kiang used to run cables and lines and they were fast when we used them for TV cables. Maybe they can do it.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

The guy arrived at 2:30pm and fixed it, but it was the case of running a new cable from the incoming cable round all the poles and into the house. It wasn't TOT but another guy who does this sort of work for them. Glad it's back working and managed to get the call at least.
