Heineken Hua Hin Jazz Festival 2006
Thailand’s oldest beach resort will be hosting the 2006 Jazz festival from the 2nd until the 4th of June and will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 11.00 pm. And is best of all free of charge
Enjoy live music performances from local and international jazz artists among the backdrop of beautiful sea and clear blue sky.
The Hua Hin Jazz Festival is expected to draw thousands of visitors this year, all keen to enjoy local and international bands on all stages in a mellow sunny seaside setting.
Other activities on offer will include jazz workshops, local food stalls, product sales, games and lucky draws. This family-oriented festival looks set to become a defining event in the annual Thai jazz calendar.
Planning to come to Hua Hin for the festival and need a Hotel? or a Guest house ? and not forgeting the many Attractions in and around Hua Hin including golf courses
More information will be posted as we receive it

"I don't often agree with the RSPCA as i believe it is an animals duty to be on my plate at supper time"
I'm glad to hear that the Jazz Festival is being held again this year.
Unlucky planning on my part as I'll only be in Hua Hin for the first night, although one night is better than none.
The Heineken website gives the programme of events.
I lifted this link from their web site.

Initial research shows that this is going to be a fantastic event

More details including lineups can be found here:

Its also funny how our photos manage to wind up on the official TAT site

I noticed that there'll be only two stages; both on the beach. While jazz played on the beach creates a great athmosphere, last year there was a huge problem on the beach stage. There weren't enough toilets. I certainly don't fancy quieing for half an hour and then enter a toilet which is flooded with........... Hopefully someone has been farsighted enough to solve this problem this year. Otherwise it could be a short festival for me. Particularly as Heineken is the main sponsor, one would think they'd like people to consume their products as well.

Spent most of the time last year at the beer parks which were great as there was ample seating, accessible dunnys and alternative bevvies.
It would be a shame if they only have beach stages this year, cant see the turnout being as high. We'll have to wait and see.
We should arrange a HHAD table and try and get a few of the boarders to meet up.

As for the toilets I will repeat my advice on another forum. Get yourself a large pack of adult diapers or just paddle out to seas unti waist (or is it waste) height.

So ... does anybody want to meet up for the Jazz Fest? Who will be around?
Last year we was a good crack however no matter how much Heiny you drink it has absolutely no affect but to increase your frequency of toilet visits.
