
The flip side to this.........in Surin we have all three next to each other and all what you see is the poor village farmers coming out of there with the pick ups so over loaded that the head lights are pointing to the sky.
It gives them a chance to bulk buy and make a couple of baht on each item when sold from there house fronts.
This might be very low value economics but after they have cut the rice and sold it to the merchants, and gone on the piss for a couple of months it's something constructive to do and also provides a service for the many folk that are so poor they cant afford to travel to the mega stores.
So i think its not so bad and the more compertition maybe better deals but TiT.
