Transporting Moped from Pattaya -> Hua Hin

so i'm living in hua hin at the moment and my dad has offered to lend me his Moped however its in pattaya , and im in hua hin. any suggestions on how to transport a Moped from Pattaya over to Hua Hin.

i heard people talking about a train at one point however after asking for more info nobody knew any important details.

No, a train isn't going to work. There's only one slow one per day Pattaya to Bangkok, then a change of trains for the south and I don't think they allow cargo transported like that on the passenger trains.

The best is for your Dad to hire a baht bus driver and give him 3,000 Baht, about 1,500 he'll spend on fuel. Wise if your Dad or you accompany it as well to assure it gets there. Pete

We accept mopeds on the ferry service between Pattaya and Hua Hin.
The cost for the moped is 750 baht one way.

Alternatively, go pick it up and drive it back. It's great fun, but expect a sore backside by the time you get back. I've been down to Ranong and back several times on my Honda Wave, also many times to Bangkok and back, and wait for it.....................to Ubon and back. I know, it's crazy, but that's what makes life a laugh....lol.

Best way, of course, is with Barry. Second best way is with Thai Post. Takes less than a week and cost about 2 000 THB.

How about from Samui to Hua Hin? And no I'm not riding it from there! Lol!

Ask the post office in Samui. Thailand Post does transport mopeds. Empty the tank before you send the moped or they will do it for you and you'll lose the gasoline.
