Me too, this is very much a sign that Thailand's reading the 'winds of change' and is blowing with the wind away from the US.
I'm actually glad he's not being extradited, the US has had 70+ years of excessive foreign influence in the world, now things are turning to a different tune...

It is interesting that Russia has consistently objected to this ''gun runner's'' arrest, and to the ceasefire in Syria, yet is was reported yesterday that Russia had recently supplied one billion US dollars of arms and ammunition to Syria - the paymaster being Iran.
The sale of arms and weapons continues to be a 'dirty business' whether instigated by gun runners or countries.
Courage is grace under pressure and when circumstances change you change your mind.
