Just whats wrong ? Lack of fitness or lack of commitment or lack of confidence or lack of tactical nous......maybe a combination of all four.
Hodgson IMHO, that squad is better than the table shows.

Looks like Chelsea are screwing up this weekend as well - 0-2 to Sunderland with 30 minutes left. Crap team selection and performance. An absolute shocker.

ManC vs Birmingham 0-0
Villa vs Manure 2-2
Everton vs Gooners 1-2
Chelsea vs Sunderland 0-3

What a wonderful weekend it has been. Naturally it wasn't perfect with Spurs winning but I don't even mind losing my banker in IKTS this weekend.

Apparently after the game Didier Drogba was quoted as saying "It isnt quite the same without big Ray,it is hard to play at your best when you have tears in your eyes."

Maybe Wilkins and Drogba were having an affair as part of the Chelsea inter-breeding culture ?

But joking apart,Wilkins was very badly treated and Chelsea got what they deserved yesterday.

Gerrard was injured last night against France but I can't find out what or for how long? Please post when anyone finds out details concerning this weekends match. Why the hell did they keep him in for so long in such a crap match. :cuss: Pete

He'll be assessed by the Liverpool medical staff today, expected to be out for 2-3 weeks.

England had agreed with LFC to only play Gerrard for 60 minutes maximum, so thanks for that.

Silliness, silliness. A friendly where young talent is supposed to be assessed and he, a Pl team captain, was in for what, 85 minutes. Maybe Capello is working with the bookies on the side. I have my Banker on Liverpool this weekend. Some deep thought needed now. :(

Who else do they have that can work well with Torres? Pete

Nobody works with him at the moment, that's not how Hodgson sets us up.

It's more like only Torres is allowed past the halfway line, everybody has to hoof it up to Torres, hope he can win the ball, and pull off a bit of magic.

Hodgson for England!

Are you sure about that,Pete ?
With Gerrard missing and Baa Baa in the crowd it has all the makings of a dour 0-0 scoreline ! :)
Maybe better to look at the match at Old Trafford with Rooney, possibly, making his return for United.
But what do I know after Chelsea 0 Sunderland 3 last week
Be interesting to see how Chelsea perform this weekend after last week.
If they lose at Birmingham then maybe Romans Empire is starting to crumble !
