True, but spurs have never splashed out silly money for average players over those years (can't say if liverpool have or not), I believe Modric is our most expensive at 16 mil.
bent £16.5 mil, bently £15 mil, pavlechenko £14.5, hutton £8 mil, woodgate £7 mil are a few that come to mind   :D
We also offloaded players for a profit during that time (berbatov) and spent the money on new players rather than wacking it in the bank to pay off debts.

the only one you made a profit on :|
before you say keane, he cost £7 mil originally, was sold to liverpool for £19 & bought back for £12 :|

I don't know the ins and outs of it but I can't see how liverpool have no money to spend yet spurs, using the same chairman, not some oil tycoon takeover, can afford to splash the cash and build a new stadium.
you don't seem to know the ins & outs of your own club :?

they're bankrolled by a tycoon/sugar daddy too, sir keith mills.
not a lot of people know that!! :D
Remember, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

It takes someone very special that makes me side with Baa Baa against an Arsenal fan. That someone is you Manny, a particularly obnoxious individual. BTW, Manny, is it short for Emanuel, sounds like you should be a Spurs supporter.

These are Chelsea, Man United and now Man City.
Please be assured that I only 'support' the Green Army. I follow most other teams with interest. (I'm not having a go at you personally here, but) If Arsenal are playing in the Champions League for example, I have a mental block from years ago, and would rather stick pins in my eyes than watch the match on TV. I would only watch if I had an interest in the opposing team.

I even had tickets to watch Arsenal thrash the Green Army in the FA Cup 2 years ago - I gave them away rather than suffer boring boring Arsenal.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

Tottenham are actually the 3rd biggest spenders in the league from the season Abramovich bought Chelsea.

How wonderful to see we have returned to discussing Football rather than the assassination of old Manny by some bully boys.

I wouldn't assassinate anybody - we've all been infected by football, the only difference is that we've been infected by different strains of the disease. :D

Far from it, I'd feel honoured that I've got another potential convert. :D

Ahhh Arcadian....... there's the Arsenal fan mentality I grew to love.

Arsey, cocky.....anything but civil on football related matters.

So everything I have said appears to be wrong. Hang on.... I don't believe this..... A (true  ) arsenal fan disagreeing with everyword a spurs fan says. Surely this can't be!!

I reckon your the kind o' guy if I tell you the sky's blue you'll disagree.

Ho Hum.... just have to wait to give ya a good thrashing again this time around and let the football speak.
If it's within arms reach, there's nothing to worry about!!

Manny, you can't fool me, I think you're turning into a closet Green Army supporter. Come on man, it's time yo come out of the closet. :D This link http://www.greensonscreen.co.uk/ should satisfy your thirst for Green Army info.

One bit of interesting information on that site is that on this date the Green Army thrashed Manchester United 4 - 0.

I've said this before, but the Green Army are not worthy of being discussed on this thread. Can you please continue your lust for real football on the correct thread http://www.huahinafterdark.com/forum/vi ... 28&t=15732 . As much as I enjoy discussing the Green Army, if the discussion is to continue, it must be in the right place.
