BTW, they don't sell their bodies.
It's rent, except when they happen upon a starry-eyed falang.
And even then its often just a longer lease.

HH seems to have made a favourable impression - will you be back?
Dont get my wrong, i like girls, find it difficult to commit when things like that have a price....well every girl come with a pricetag(Ooops)...Had an offer free of charge...take that as a compliment.

I went to buy some property so i guess...... i´ll be back....

It's one of the best phrases I ever heard, and since 50% of the marriages end in a divorce in the USA, I guess it's applicable there too! :blues: :blues: :blues:

I have to reply to TT and JK. You really sound like 2 individuals who have had a lot expirience on HH. You also sound like you have a very negativ attitude towards the ladys who work there, well i am not there yet but on the other hand i didnt get burned, maybe you did and that explains your general thinking.

I wont say that you are wrong in your assesments of the ladies working there, youre probably more right than me, but it seems you lack some kind of understanding on why they do like they do.

Marriges-yes, money-yes,-better life-yes. But its not the issue here, as i wrote earlier where i come from girls who work these places have that sorrowful look in there eyes, they mostly forced to work in bars because they are addicts og they have big loans on the black market.

Here i found that some of the girls actually was fairly stimulated working as a BG, only complaining about the long hours but they seemed fairly content, that just doesnt fit my impression from my experience from back home, that was pussles me.

I have friends who took there GF back home, everytime it went sour and didnt work.

Rent or lease....thats a way to put it and maybe it is the most accurate term. On the other hand i am not that kind of person who think the worst of people i meet, call me naive, but that works for me.

I am not looking for love, im looking for a good time, and i actually think some of them are too.!

You sure got me wrong, I haven't met a lady I didn't like yet! :D :D :D All I said was that there are no guaranties in relationships and since 50% of the marriages end in a divorce in the US, it's easy to figure out your odds of "succeeding." My motto always has been "Love them while you can and move on if you can't!"

Without saying too much I think you have an active imagination lekkim.
You don't know me but you have decided to extrapolate makmak nevertheless and your post reflects some confusion. You agree with what I said then suggest I think the worst of the girls. I looked again at my post and did not see where I said anything like that. If you think they love their jobs, go ahead and think it. My experience suggests otherwise which has nothing to do with MY attitude toward them or how I relate to them. You might want to try getting to know some beyond 90 minutes or 9am the next day.

The girls in HuaHin bars maybe seem more content (I wouldn't say exactly happy in their jobs either) because they don't have to cope so much with the kind of punters found in Pattaya or Bangkok?
And before you guys are all up in arms - that is of course a generalisation! I do know that when I had staff in the bars in HH they considered themselves to be in a more pleasant and easy going town, and were grateful for it. The idea of working in Pattaya - even for higher stakes - really was a no-no to most of them. And of course working in Bangkok meant much higher living costs, therefore more pressure.
Maybe HuaHin just attracts a better class of farang?

I was a bar manager back in the late '70s, the bar was frequented by the "Angels of The Night" and I got pretty close to them. (Not for the "fringe benefits!") :D :D :D
They all had their own "stories" and "excuses" for being in the world's oldest profession, but they all were actually very nice girls once you got to know them. It certainly taught me a lesson of not to judge people.

To JK: You can read my reply anyway you like, actually i have 0 experience in leaving a bar with a girl for the night who i have payed for, in HH i might say. Actually i know a few of the girls, since i have a close friend living in HH, i have spend some time with him and his girlfriend who have a lot of friends working in bars, I have always had a good friendly time with them, on the other hand i have never seen them as girls for rent or lease. What i do know and have seen, is these girls in my country who left the scene to marry a guy, it never worked, so the point is are they content in some way with their living.!

To Magaret: It is nice to see your post, it just confirms my own opinion, i am not that wrong anyway.

To TT: Bar manager in the 70´s, that was the time....
