Global Warming 2
Global Warming 2
It's been a month. Maybe this time around we can keep the dialogue under control.

Talk about a f-rt in a bottle. Maybe we should just light it as CH4 is flammable! Must have been a lot of wooly mammoths and sabre tooth tigers up to no good cavorting in the snow OR is it just a natural phenomena over which he have minimal control. As for it being released because of GW I was under the impression it was CC and that it was colder than normal.
Read these articles this morning and they tell just what all this global warming con is all about.

I posted them on a thread about the last steel works in the UK closing but feel it should also be here for the AGW disciples to have a look at.

I never forget a face but in your case I'll make an exception!

The trouble with trusting complex science
(The Guardian)
There is no simple way to battle public hostility to climate research. As the psychologists show, facts barely sway us anyway...

...and it doesn't help when the very scientists touting global warming get caught out in lies, cover ups, and fact manipulation...
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

this part of the article is interesting;
the reason al gore attracted so much derision is because his documentary was a full of mistruths.Yesterday in the Guardian Peter Preston called for a prophet to lead us out of the wilderness. "We need one passionate, persuasive scientist who can connect and convince … We need to be taught to believe by a true believer." Would it work? No. Look at the hatred and derision the passionate and persuasive Al Gore attracts.
he made a substantial profit despite his findings being flawed & dishonest!!!
ref: HHF above
we don't need to be taught to believe, we just need the simple, basic facts & NOT ones manipulated by scientists to suit government guidelines
the met office was recently called to task as to how their predictions for a scorching summer (2009) & a mild recent winter could be so hopelessly wrong!!?
a met office boffin recently explained that in realistic terms, the weather is hard to predict accurately more than 5 days in advance
. . . . . but they can predict decades in advance for GW

See, there are some good aspects to climate change... now the dispute over this island is moot!

GENEVA (AFP)— April 2010 was the hottest April ever recorded, with an average temperature of 14.5 degrees celsius (58.1 degrees Fahrenheit), the UN weather agency said Tuesday.
Citing data from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the World Meteorological Organisation said that the average temperature on both land and ocean this April reached 0.76 degrees Celsius above that of the 20th century average of 13.7 degree Celsius.
A statement from the US agency noted that warmer-than-normal conditions "dominated the globe, with the most prominent warmth in Canada, Alaska, the eastern United States, Australia, South Asia, northern Africa and northern Russia."
Weather records go as far back as 1880.
