Quote from Mr Leary today to BBC.

"One thing we have looked at in the past, and are looking at again, is the possibility of maybe putting a coin slot on the toilet door, so that people might actually have to spend a pound to spend a penny in future," he told the BBC.

I think that is plain enough, don't you? :thumb:
I only saw the bit on BBC News, so I based my info on that. Sorry.

that just shows that they haven't thought about that through. What about the customers from other countries. It's very difficult to get coins when exchanging money nowadays.

Anywho, Ryanair can do what they like. Credit crunch is bringing down the prices of proper airlines, as I just discovered when I booked my trip to Europe a week ago. For £30 more, I got economy+ from BA. Why fly budget...

No need to say sorry, we all get caught out by breaking news, as it moves so fast, except in Thailand.

As I said before, I would never fly Ryan air, as I want to enjoy my flight, not count the pennies or £1 coins.

A pound for a piss and an attendant outside the door to sell bumwad at 50p a sheet. Nice little earner there. :thumb:
I also hear they may be renting under-seat chamberpots for a pound so you don't have to clamber in and out of your seat.
Got to admire this novel exploitation of the ultimate captive audience, though.

I suppose they won't be providing nice smelly soaps and handcream then?

Not sure if it was a hoax or not but - yesterday I heard they where going to start surcharging Fat people...

Well - they do weigh more...but how are they going to implement that one!

I heard that some airlines were going to do this to anyone who could not fit into a seat with the armrest down without encroaching on the seat(s) next to them.

I also heard that some greenies are pushing a movement to charge a fat tax in America as fat people (due to the extra processing of food and fuel to deliver it, etc.) cause additional environmental problems as well as a burden to the medical system.

I'm just glad I'm nearing the end of my life and will not have to put up with this PC madness and lack of personal freedoms much longer!

I heard on the news they would be charged for (and given) two seats side by side. Now whether or not they would need to use two seatbealts is another story! Pete
