Do I need to register my address?

Post by HHcolin »

Hi everyone,
I've just joined the forum and may be asking a few questions!
I have just bought a house in Hua Hin (leasehold) and will be moving in shortly when I get back from the UK. I am on a non o visa at present but will be changing to a retirement visa at the end of the year. So my question is do I need to register my address at immigration or can I get away with leaving it till I sort out the new visa and know I will have to do 90 day reporting.
I know I havn't used the correct visa terms but you know what I mean!

It’s a minor infringement, but they can get a bit snotty if you get an officer in a bad mood when doing other things at immigration. It’s best just to get in the habit of popping down and doing it each time. You don’t have to go to the main room and take a ticket, it’s the first window and one of the admin staff, so quite painless.
Enjoying 'Retirement'....So many jobs to do, I don't know how I ever had time to work!
