Australian Passport Renewal

Hi all.... can anyone advise me on the exact location in BKK for renewing an Australian Passport? The Embassy is on South Sathorn, but we were told by a friend that passport renewals is now in a separate Admin building elsewhere. On speaking to the Embassy in BKK, they say no, the renewal must be lodged at the Embassy building. Any additional info of heads up woud be appreciated.

Mine was done at the Embassy a couple of years ago. I doubt very much that they would farm it out. Visa applications however are done elsewhere as far as I know.
